Before joining Fusion, I completed a dual degree in business administration and medical sciences at the Richard Ivey School of Business and Western University. The phrase that resonated with me the most when I started at Fusion is, “Think like a scientist, act like an artist.” Thinking like a scientist involves developing a hypothesis and crunching the numbers in different ways until you can get to the answer, and relates to the technical skills I developed from my science degree. Meanwhile, my business degree provided me the skills and insight to act like an artist, to be able to see the bigger picture and build a story around data. I get to both of these things at Fusion, as we take ownership of a project from start to finish, starting on our very first day! At Fusion, you get the chance to hone both your technical skills and soft skills among a talented and fun group of people.
