As a mechatronics engineer from the University of Waterloo, I am passionate about real-world problem-solving through data-driven analytics. So far, during my eight years at Fusion, I have enjoyed bringing deep analytics to clients, while watching analytics develop as a powerful tool for decision-making in politics, sports, and business. One of my favourite projects at Fusion was developing an inventory ordering system for a home décor retailer. The system uses an allocation algorithm to identify the optimal shipment of SKUs to each of the retailer’s stores in order to maximize total network sales.
